Popcorn can be more than just a movie snack. Make it your centerpiece. Maddalena believes that any simple food can be elevated with a little cleverness and, of course, wine! So pop that corn, add a few extra touches of easy elevation, invite some friends (or don’t if you want these tasty combinations all to yourself), and enjoy! Salute!

Maddalena Pinot Grigio lends itself wonderfully to pairing with spicy foods. This is because the crisp notes of melon and green apples, in tandem with fresh minerality, serve to cut the spicy bite of the jalapeno. Sprinkle jalapeno spice on your fluffy popped corn and add a squeeze of lime. Serve with a chilled glass of Maddalena Pinot Grigio and enjoy!

Home made kettle corn? How do we sign up!? Melt butter in a pan until it is liquid. Add sugar to taste and drizzle onto your pop corn. Maddalena like to add a honey drizzle on top. Serve with a glass of Maddalena Cabernet Sauvignon, whose spicy oak and black cherry notes offset the sweet lightness of your kettlecorn.
